Do I need a credit check?
No. Cricket is prepaid, so there is no credit check and no annual contract. You pay for service in advance.
Can I keep my current number?
Yes. Porting is free and takes minutes. You will need your current account number and transfer PIN from your old carrier, and the old line must stay active until the transfer completes.
Will my phone work on Cricket?
Most unlocked phones work. Use the compatibility check before you switch, as some phones must be unlocked by the original carrier first.
Are taxes and fees extra?
Plan prices include taxes and regulatory fees. A one-time activation fee of up to $25 per line may apply, depending on how you sign up.
What is the coverage like?
Cricket runs on the nationwide AT&T 5G network. 5G requires a compatible device and is not available everywhere, so check the coverage map before you order.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes on monthly plans. Multi-month plans are prepaid in full for the term and cannot be cancelled or changed until the term ends.
How do returns work?
Devices can be returned within 7 days; a restocking fee of up to $25 may apply. Service charges for a started period are not refunded. See the returns policy.
